<div style='text-align:Left;'><div><div><p><span><span>The elevation data used to created this dataset was provided by MapCon to the Saskatchewan Geospatial Imagery Collaborative (SGIC) group as a deliverable along with the high-resolution aerial photography product. The breaklines used are polyline shapefiles derived by softcopy stereo digitizing of features that represent breaks in the topography (for example, tops of ridges, bottoms of V-shaped valleys, tops and bottoms of cliffs, edges of waterbodies, etc.). These breaklines greatly add to the representative detail of the topography and have the potential to greatly increase the accuracy and precision of an elevation model. Please refer to the following document for more details on the methodology used to interpolate the DEM: "Proposed_SGIC_DEM_Creation_Methodology_20110211.doc"</span></span></p><p><span /></p></div></div></div> |
