Description: The distributed RURAL MUNICIPALITY feature layer, part of the ISC SaskGIS Cadastral dataset, contains a copy of the RURAL MUNICIPALITY feature layer taken from Information Services Corporation (ISC) of Saskatchewans geospatial database. The data is comprised of geospatial locations and attributional information for all rural municipalities that reside within the province of Saskatchewan. The feature layer identifies each rural municipality by rm number, rm name, PPID (unique ID), and geospatial location. The rural municipalities have been derived from legal survey data and control survey points. This data is suitable for use in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Computer Aided Drawing Systems (CAD). This data is available live and current at www.geosask.ca, and is also available via monthly deliveries for ISCs commercial users. The data that is delivered monthly undergoes rigorous quality control cycles and can be packaged as whole data and/or as change records (which indicate entities that have been added, deleted and modified since the previous months delivery).
Description: This data set was digitized from the 1978 Sask Agriculture 1:1.5million scale map WDE 89. These boundaries are a representation, accurate to 1:2million scale and not for distibution outside SWA without the approval of the Supervisor GIS Infrastructure Management.

Description: The data set depicts the selection of provincial Crown minerals only. Land claim selections do not encumber freehold minerals or private surface rights. During the selection period, undisposed Crown minerals are unavailable for dispositioning under The Crown Minerals Act. Crown minerals subject to land claims change regularly. Once a new Indian reserve is established, the record is removed from the dataset. Land claim selections may also terminate either through the withdrawal of the land claim by the First Nation or through the discontinuance of the selection under the terms of the land claim agreement.Online linkage to Saskatchewan Oil & Gas Information:http://www.infomaps.gov.sk.ca/website/Sir_Oil_And_Gas_Wells
Copyright Text: The Land Claims Database is updated daily based on information supplied to the Saskatchewan Ministry of Energy and Resources from the Saskatchewan Ministry of First Nations and Métis Relations (FNMR). FNMR is the provincial agency responsible for coordinating the review of land claim selections. Records maintained in the Land Claims Database are extracted twice weekly and uploaded to the map server as the Land Claim Selections dataset.

Description: At the time of construction, the Lake Diefenbaker Take Line was established to ensure the operation of Lake Diefenbaker would not directly impact privately owned lands. All lands which could potentially be affected by longterm shoreline erosion and slumping was purchased and included within the takeline. This was a significant undertaking, thus the analysis and resolution of the takeline is somewhat coarse, generally following quarter section lines.
