 "description": "This Flood Hazard Mappingwas produced under the Canada-Saskatchewan Flood Damage Reduction Program (FDRP). Under the program agreement, the provincial and federal governments conducted hydrologic and hydraulic assessments of the flood hazards at a number of Saskatchewan urban municipalities. Designation of an FDRP community occurred when that community had adopted zoning bylaws which recognized the flood zones, and when the respective federal and provincial ministers had signed the flood hazard map. Revisions to the flood hazard area may have occurred since the date the maps were issued; please contact the municipal office of the community to verify the zone boundaries if development is contemplated within or near the flood hazard area. Although the FDRP Agreement has expired, and the Program no longer exists, both the provincial and federal governments continue to recognize the FDRP Designations, and the principles of the program.
